River Antoine is an intense pure cane juice rum from Grenada, a rum characterized by ester and citrus notes. River Antoine is the oldest distillery on the island, crafting its rums using natural yeasts and distillation in a double-twisted John Dore still. This is an incredible rum not to be missed. TASTING NOTE

Nose: Intense. Citrus, solvent, pineapple.

Palate: Concentrated. Roasted pineapple, smoky notes, fresh grass, orange peel.

Finish: Long. Candied citrus, brown sugar, honey.

THE BRAND

The River Antoine distillery is a monument in the history of rum. Founded in 1785, it has maintained the same artisanal production of pure cane juice rum throughout its history, perpetuating the tradition of crushing cane using a hydraulic mill, spontaneous fermentation without the addition of yeast, and, finally, distillation in a pot still. Rivers is an intense rum driven by citrus and esters.
