Uberach, the village "beyond the water" inspired the Bertrand distillery to create its first whisky in 2003. The preparation of the malt, using local brews , is the result of precise and precious work that continues at each stage of the whisky's creation, right up to its bottling. Uberach Whisky from Alsace is aged in barrels carefully selected by Jean Metzger, in the most renowned cellars in Banuyls . The chosen barrels have been aged for several years with sweet wines , before joining Uberach. A unique story that is subtly expressed through the whiskies in the range.

JEAN METZGER, PIONEER OF UBERACH WHISKY

At the dawn of the 21st century, a man imagined an extraordinary product. Bringing together exceptional raw materials, a visionary and respectful of tradition, the "local boy" created spirits and became a pioneer of aging in Uberach. Driven by his Alsatian identity and this distillation experience, our poet developed, created, and composed a unique spirit: Biersky. For nearly two decades, whiskies have been born and aged within the distillery and have earned the IGP Whisky d'Alsace designation.
