The Sexton is an Irish single malt distilled triple in copper stills, then aged for 4 years in oak casks previously containing Oloroso sherry. A smooth, very approachable and fruity whiskey. It is an innovative Irish whiskey created by Alex Thomas, one of the few female Master Blenders in the industry.

TASTING NOTE

Nose : Honeyed malt, nuts, chocolate, spices and fruits.

Palate : Honey, rich, dried spices, nuts and dried fruits.

Finish : Slightly woody with a honey sweetness that slowly fades .

THE DISTILLERY

The Old Bushmills Distillery is officially the oldest in the world. It was licensed by King James I in 1608. This refined and smooth whiskey is produced in a small village of the same name in Northern Ireland. Their whiskeys reflect Irish traditions and values. The main range of single malts consists of a 10-year-old, a 16-year-old, and a 21-year-old aged in Madeira casks. Black Bush and Bushmills Original are the two main blended whiskeys in the range.
