Little brother of the famous El Pasador de Oro XO , it embodies the know-how of the company Les Bienheureux , determined to become a rum producer in its own right. Coming from the fertile and still little-known lands of Costa Rica , this rum is the fruit of an ambitious and passionate project. The entire process, from harvesting the cane to aging, is mastered on site by the estate, now owned by the French company. Pura Vida XO is distinguished by its unique blend of three rums made from pure cane juice , molasses and cane honey . After careful fermentation and distillation, the rum benefits from an initial tropical aging in ex-bourbon oak barrels , followed by maturation in Charente , in old Cognac tuns, for an incomparable aromatic richness. Aesthetics are not left out: the magnificent carafe is enhanced by a case made from recycled bagasse , an ecological nod that reflects the brand's commitment. Finally, the name “Pura Vida” , which means “Enjoy life” in Spanish, perfectly embodies the essence of this exceptional rum.
