About the distillery

Kilchoman is an artisanal distillery located on the west coast of the Isle of Islay, founded in 2005. It is distinguished by its short production cycle: from the barley grown on site to the distillation, traditional malting, and bottling, everything is controlled on site. It is one of the few distilleries in Scotland to still operate as a true farm distillery. Its single malts are appreciated for their peaty intensity and aromatic finesse, with a range extending from classic editions (Machir Bay, Sanaig) to cask strength and rare aging.
