At 57.5% ABV, it is bottled at cask strength, thus offering all the power and complexity of a Cask Strength whisky while remaining accessible at a very fair price. The nose is immediately sweet, with notes of vanilla , salted caramel , toffee , raspberries and milk chocolate . After a while, spicier elements emerge, such as gingerbread , oily copper and peppery nuts . On the palate, this whisky is quite sweet at first, with flavors of milk chocolate and vanilla , but with a thick, melting texture. Notes of baked apples and spicier cinnamon then develop, followed by saltier , brinier elements that pair well with raspberry and caramel . The finish is marked by touches of ice cream , vanilla , and black pepper , leaving a pleasant, lingering sensation.
