Black - Création 257 is the new cuvée from Maison Lanson, replacing the Black Label cuvée. It bears this name because it represents the 257th blend of the House. “Each Création is a unique recipe, an opportunity to push the precision of our blends even further while remaining in keeping with the distinctive, fresh and elegant style of Maison Lanson,” explains Hervé Dantan, Cellar Master of Maison Lanson. This cuvée is the result of a harmonious marriage of the three main Champagne grape varieties, with a predominance of Pinot Noir (51%) for its structure, complemented by Chardonnay (36%) for its freshness, and finally Meunier (13%) which adds fruity aromas. Maison Lanson is distinguished by the choice not to carry out malolactic fermentation. This process thus maximizes the freshness and liveliness of the champagnes, while increasing their aging potential. After aging for four years in the cellars of Maison Lanson, this brut champagne is dosed at 8 g/L, thus ensuring a beautiful balance. TASTING NOTE
Nose : On the nose, we first discover a bouquet of tangy fruits with aromas of pear, apple, and citrus. Then, gourmet notes of pastries appear in the background.
Palate : On the palate, it is generous, offering flavors of ripe orchard fruits, mandarin, lemon, grapefruit, brioche and dried fruits.
