The Cuvée Rosé Grand Cru is a rosé champagne combining the finesse and purity of Chardonnays from Oger and Mesnil-sur-Oger (Côte des Blancs) with the intensity of Pinot Noirs from Verzenay (Montagne de Reims). Located in Mesnil-sur-Oger, one of the most prestigious locations on the Côte des Blancs, the Cazals house benefits from an exceptional terroir. This village, home to illustrious houses such as Salon and Delamotte, is home to very chalky vineyards, producing grapes of great vivacity. Champagnes from these terroirs often require a few years of aging to fully reveal their potential. Oger and Mesnil-sur-Oger are classified Grand Cru, a title reserved for only 17 Champagne villages, representing the pinnacle of the appellation. The grapes come from the ripest plots, where the average age of the vines is 40 years, allowing them to create a smooth, rich, and persistent brut champagne . Every year during the harvest, Delphine, the winemaker, visits a friend in Verzenay, a Grand Cru, to choose the barrel of red wine for this cuvée.
With a Brut dosage of 7 g/l, the Cuvée Rosé Grand Cru showcases its delicious aromas. It has a pinkish color with pale highlights and very fine, lively bubbles. On the nose, this champagne reveals notes of small red fruits and blood orange. On the palate, it offers an energetic attack, beautiful minerality, and elegant aromas, making this cuvée a perfect choice to accompany refined dishes or to enjoy as an aperitif.

The Cazals family embodies a story where tradition and innovation meet, revealing a subtle balance between ancestral know-how and modern winemaking techniques. Proud of their roots, the Cazals house proudly perpetuates age-old practices while embracing contemporary oenological advances.
