TASTING NOTE
Nose : Frankly peaty with powerful notes of iodine, fireplace (smoke) and brewed malt.
Palate : Salivating, with a great presence in the mouth with an unusual saline touch on the finish.
Finish : In retro-olfaction, we find the aromatic strength of the nose.
THE BRAND
Vilanova (Villeneuve in Occitan) is a French whisky produced by Sébastian Castan, the third generation of a craft distiller. The distillery uses its own malting barley and draws its natural water from a depth of 110 meters. The distillery's hallmark is to produce only single cask whiskies with unique characteristics. The whiskies are not chill-filtered, and their maturation in different casks gives the whisky varied flavors and a natural color. Handcrafted, Vilanova is an excellent French whisky.
