Cihuatán takes its name from an ancient Mayan city that has become a major archaeological site. The house crafts its rums in El Salvador, from cane to aging, with particular attention paid to the selection of bourbon barrels. Indigo 8 Years, launched in 2015, symbolizes the rise of the Salvadoran rum scene: a smooth, aromatic, and precise style that showcases the local terroir and the region's cultural heritage.
