Palate: Dry and full-bodied , offering a nice complexity of cooked fruits , toasted oak , cinnamon and nutmeg .
Finish: Long and elegant , very smooth, marked by a lovely woody imprint and notes of rancio .

This exceptional rum is made from Longueteau Blanc 50% , distilled from red cane (gourmandise) and blue cane (freshness). It is then aged in new oak barrels and ex-cognac barrels , bringing structure, richness and complexity. Batch 9 is distinguished by a refined woody profile and an aromatic expression full of elegance. It embodies the artisanal mastery and ambition for excellence of the Longueteau distillery.

About the distillery
The Longueteau distillery , founded in 1895 by Louis Philippe Henry Longueteau , is located on the magnificent estate of the Marquisat de Sainte-Marie in Guadeloupe. The oldest distillery still in operation on the island, it is distinguished by a 100% integrated process : cultivation, harvesting, fermentation, distillation and bottling are carried out on site. The 70 hectares of red and blue cane are cultivated in monoculture in a logic of sustainable agriculture , with recycling of vinasse and soil cover with bagasse. Distillation is carried out on a traditional Savalle column with 28 trays. The house is renowned for its authentic, powerful agricultural rums with great aromatic precision.
