Distilled from corn and wheat in column stills, Teeling Single Grain is a whiskey aged in American Cabernet Sauvignon casks. Smooth and fruity, with notes of red berries and grapes, it is one of the few Irish single grains. This grain whiskey, with its beautiful deep gold hue, is characterized by its smoothness, but also its depth, and flavors of red berries, honey, vanilla, and caramel. THE BRAND
The connection between the Teeling family name and Irish whiskey dates back to 1782, when Walter Teeling established a distillery in the Liberties area of Dublin. John Teeling purchased Ceimici Teo in 1987 and transformed it into the Cooley Distillery. This famous distillery has produced several spectacular Irish whiskeys, including Connemara, an Irish single malt. In 2011, Beam Inc. purchased Cooley, but it wasn't long before the Teeling family returned to the whiskey world. In 2012, they founded the Teeling Whiskey Company, which is at the forefront of the Irish whiskey revival. It has a distillery in Dublin and incredible stocks of whiskey from its former distillery. Teeling Whiskey produces a range of premium Irish whiskey. The family has been dedicated to producing quality spirits for 230 years and wouldn't have it any other way.
