ICHIRO'S MALT Double Distilleries 46.5% is an exceptional Japanese blended malt blended from the whiskies of the closed Hanyu and active Chichibu distilleries. Chichibu is aged in Japanese oak barrels for a remarkable smoothness, while Hanyu is expressed in sherry and hogshead casks with rich notes of red fruits and cinnamon . The nose reveals chocolate, apple, pear and raisins , the palate is fruity, spicy and woody, and the finish is long on sweet spices . Very limited quantity.

About the distillery
Ichiro Akuto , grandson of the founder of the famous Hanyu distillery, is the man behind this masterpiece. After Hanyu closed, he founded the Chichibu distillery in 2008, now world-renowned for its exceptional handcrafted whiskies.
The "Ichiro's Malt" series has achieved cult status, and the Double Distilleries vintage is one of the rarest. It embodies the legacy of two legendary distilleries, combining tradition and innovation in a blend of rare elegance.
