Don Papa pays homage to Papa Isio (Dionisio Magbuelas), a key figure in the Philippine revolution against the Spanish colonizers. A former healer and rebel leader, his free spirit embodies the values of this colorful and rebellious rum. Created in 2013 by Stephen Carroll, a former executive in the spirits industry (Diageo, Rémy Cointreau, etc.), the brand quickly conquered the world with its sweet and fruity style accessible to all. The rum is distilled from a sugar-rich molasses on the island of Negros , then aged in American bourbon and Spanish wine barrels, giving it its signature vanilla and roundness.
