Compagnie des Indes is an independent French bottler founded in 2014 by Florian Beuchet. Inspired by the trading companies of the 17th and 18th centuries, the brand selects authentic rums , without artificial flavors or unnecessary additions, from the Caribbean, Central America and other exotic regions.
Each vintage is carefully selected, sometimes bottled at cask strength, or offered as a Single Cask , with or without specific refining. The "Boulet de Canon" range explores the link between rum and smoke, by refining the rums in casks that have contained peated whiskies, or even by adding smoking with wood, tea, pepper or, as here, hay.
