THE BRAND
Lagg Distillery, located at the southern tip of Arran, in the island's agricultural heartland, aims to produce a premium peated single malt. Lagg Distillery also intends to experiment. On the one hand, it will use peat from different areas, not only Scotland but also further afield. On the other, it will use barley, as the surrounding fields have been planted to produce Arran barley, which will be used in the future to produce a 100% Arran whisky.
