TASTING NOTE 
Color : Burnished bronze.
Nose : Elegant and refined. Sweet, delicate notes of honey are intertwined with spices, vanilla, caramel, and cinnamon. Then suddenly... the roar of campfire smoke, sea spray, and tar hit you. The beast is awake.
Palate : You must prepare yourself; its "natural force" is untamed and ferocious. Yet, seconds later, this peaty, fiery spirit is soon soothed by the warmth of your tongue. Almost immediately, a calm reigns, as alluring notes of banana cake, molasses, and mocha, with whispers of sweet pineapple, ginger, and cumin, finally kick in to give you an unforgettable aftertaste.
Finish : Quite long, smoky with ginger .
THE BRAND
The Peat's Beast whisky brand emerged in 2010. It is from independent bottler Fox Fitzgerald, and the range includes undisclosed single malts from across Scotland. Fox Fitzgerald owns several Scotch whisky brands: the heavily peated Peat's Beast brand, The Corriemhor, a Sherry-influenced malt, and the Glen Stuar Scotch whisky . Fox Fitzgerald also bottles a range of single malts under the Rest & Be Thankful Whiskey Co. brand. The Rest & Be Thankful range initially focused on Bruichladdich expressions, but has since diversified to include whiskies from other distilleries.
