The Six Isles is a blended malt from Ian Macleod, bringing together six single malts, one from each Scottish island. Arran, Islay, Jura, Mull, Orkney, and Skye are all represented in this Scotch whisky. The Six Isles reveals complex aromas and flavors ranging from the peaty, smoky malt of Islay to the honeyed, salty notes of Orkney. The smoky notes are present but light. The finish is dry and spicy. A good value peated whisky.

THE BRAND
Ian Macleod Distillers has been an independent bottler since 1936. Its founder, Leonard J. Russell Snr, firmly believed in the company's independence and made a point of not being beholden to a single distiller. Since then, Ian Macleod Distillers has acquired two distilleries, Glengoyne and Tamdhu, allowing it to increase its sales and establish itself firmly in the whisky market. The 10th largest Scotch whisky company in the world, Ian Macleod Distillers currently sells and produces over 15 million bottles of spirits each year.
