Founded in 1898, Benromach Distillery is one of the oldest distilleries in Speyside, but it endured numerous periods of silence and closure before being reborn in the 1990s. Taken over by Gordon & MacPhail in 1993, Benromach has undergone a true renaissance thanks to a meticulous five-year reconstruction. The distillery's objective is clear: to produce authentic whisky, faithful to the traditions of 1960s Speyside, with a slightly smoky character.
