Worthy Park Rum: Jamaican Heritage

Worthy Park is Jamaica's oldest distillery, founded in 1670 on land donated to Francis Price after the British reconquest of the island. With a rich and eventful history, the distillery has spanned the centuries producing powerful and iconic rums rooted in Jamaican terroir. After a long period of inactivity imposed by the Spirits Pool Association of Jamaica in 1950, the distillery was reborn in 2005 under the leadership of Gordon Clarke, a descendant of the historic owners. Modernized while maintaining its traditional methods, Worthy Park today combines technology and craftsmanship to produce exceptional rums. The distillery is famous for its signature products such as Rum-Bar, a 65% overproof white rum, and Worthy Gold, aged for four years in bourbon barrels. With an annual production of around three million liters, Worthy Park remains true to its Jamaican roots while establishing itself on international markets. Combining ultra-modernity with respect for the environment, the distillery recycles its waste into fertilizer and works with over 2,000 local growers. Every sip of Worthy Park rum reflects this balance between tradition, innovation, and sustainability, delivering an intense and authentic aromatic experience.
