WORTHY PARK Single Estate Reserve is the Jamaican distillery's first official premium rum—although rum connoisseurs have previously enjoyed Worthy Park through independent bottlings such as Kill Devil. The family-owned Worthy Park Estate was established in 1670 and began producing rum as early as 1741. Although a highly successful distillery, the glut of Jamaican rum after World War II meant production ceased in the 1960s. It was completely rebuilt in 2004 and now seems destined to reclaim its place among the finest distilleries. Brimming with notes of ripe banana, mango, olives, and caramel, Worthy Park Single Estate Reserve is a blend of rums aged for 6 to 10 years in ex-Bourbon casks.

TASTING NOTE
Nose: Coffee with milk, prunes, almonds, dried fruits and a touch of green banana.
Palate: Rich tropical fruits and a hint of vanilla.
Finish: Long and intense, with a hint of hazelnut.
THE BRAND
Worthy Park is Jamaica's oldest distillery, located in the heart of Lluidas Vale. Established in 1670, it began producing rum as early as 1741. Although the distillery enjoyed considerable success, the glut of Jamaican rum after World War II led to its closure in the 1960s. It was completely rebuilt in 2004 and now looks set to regain its place among the world's greatest distilleries.
