BUMBU RUM

Launched in 2016 by Sovereign Brands, Bumbu Rum has its roots in a recipe more than 400 years old, used by sailors and merchants in the colonial West Indies. These adventurers blended Caribbean fruits and spices to create a drink they called "bumbu," resulting in a rum rich in history and flavor. Bumbu Rum is distilled from sugarcane grown in eight different countries in the Caribbean and Latin America. This geographical diversity gives the rum a unique complexity and aromatic richness. One of the secrets of its production lies in the yeast used during fermentation, a skill passed down since 1840. Each bottle of Bumbu is a true masterpiece, adorned with an iconic tarnished "X" medallion, symbolizing its legendary history.
