BLACK TOT RUM: THE SPIRIT OF THE ROYAL NAVY

Black Tot Rum takes its name from a historic event marking the end of the era of rum rations for Royal Navy sailors. On July 31, 1970, a day now famous as "Black Tot Day," sailors took their last "tot," a daily glass of rum that was part of their ration. However, the Black Tot story doesn't end there. In 2009, jars containing Royal Navy rum were found in a London warehouse, giving rise to this exceptional rum. Inspired by this discovery, Black Tot Last Consignment was born in 2011. This rum reimagines the Royal Navy's heritage by creating a modern version, combining the fruity richness of Barbados rums, the strength of Guyana rums, and the intensity of Jamaican rums. It is a true fusion of styles and flavors that pays homage to tradition while adding a contemporary twist.
