Bottled with no added sugar, no coloring and non- chill filtered , it fully expresses its fresh, fruity and boldly expressive nature. On the nose, it evokes pineapple, mango, melon and a basket of Caribbean sweets . On the palate, this rum is rich in tropical fruits and recalls the sweetness of a rum cake mixed with an intense espresso and warm spices on the finish . The finish is long and indulgent , with notes of tropical fruits, chili jam, masala chai and vanilla . To be enjoyed neat or in a cocktail, it is a true modern tribute to traditional British rums .

The Black Tot brand was born from the legacy of the Royal Navy, whose tradition of the daily rum ration marked British maritime history until 1970. Rediscovered in 2009 by Elixir Distillers using old, forgotten casks, the house has transformed this past into a contemporary, fruity and complex range. By combining rums from three iconic origins – Jamaica, Guyana and Barbados – Black Tot revisits English rum traditions to offer a new generation of expressive blends, without any artifice.
