Widow Jane: Brooklyn’s unique craft whiskey

Named after the widow of a limestone mine owner in Rosendale, Widow Jane Distillery leverages a precious resource: mineral water naturally filtered through the limestone rocks of the old mines. This exceptionally mineral-rich water gives their handcrafted whiskeys and bourbons remarkable purity and complexity. Production is 100% integrated, including aging, blending, and bottling, all done in their Brooklyn facility. Widow Jane uses only non-GMO ingredients and proprietary corn varietals like Baby Jane , bringing a unique flavor signature to each batch. In addition to their own whiskeys, they also offer bourbons sourced from Kentucky, adjusted to bottling strength with their proprietary mineral water. The distillery is housed in a building constructed from restored bricks from the neighborhood, reinforcing the brand's local, artisanal roots. It shares its warehouse space with sister company Cacao Prieto , an organic chocolate maker, with whom it has created an original line of chocolate-infused bourbons.
