Anne-Hélène and Eric decided to leave everything behind to settle at the foot of the Vercors, in the Royans Valley. Located in a converted former silkworm farm, the Séquoia distillery lit its two stills in 2016. Everything is done on-site! Brewing, fermentation, distillation, maturation, and bottling. Between tradition and modernity: organic French whiskies. Eric designed his own still, the "Nautilus," designed to distill at low temperatures, 50 degrees instead of the usual 100 for whisky. A pioneer of this technical feat in the world of spirits, he enhanced the quality of the aromas, making Séquoia an exceptional whisky. In 2023, the Distillerie du Vercors proudly announces the arrival of a new range, the result of years of refinement and exploration. Barrels, like spices in a kitchen, have been at the heart of this evolution. Since 2016, their number has grown from 10 to 800, offering a multitude of possibilities to enhance whisky. This diversity of flavors has prompted the distillery to create a new range, not only to indulge itself, but also to reveal all the expertise it contains.
