This French single malt from Distillerie Tessendier is distinguished by an original finish in Barbados rum casks , after 3 years of maturation in new American oak casks and bourbon casks . This double maturation gives this whisky a profile that is both powerful, smooth and intensely aromatic .
Distilled in a traditional still from French barley , it expresses a rare exotic delicacy , where Caribbean influences intertwine with the classic woody structure. The nose is warm, evoking brown sugar, cooked fruits and a hint of vanilla . On the palate, the roundness of the rum enhances a cereal and lightly toasted base, for a rich and persistent finish.
Inspired by the 1950s and a tribute to the mother of Jérôme and Lilian Tessendier, this creation embodies the essence of the Arlett project: a fully controlled production , from brewing to blending, in a rigorous artisanal approach. This whisky, at once creative, controlled and generous , is the fruit of a passionate collaboration between brewer, distiller and cellar master.
