Tullamore Dew 12 Year Old Special Reserve is an Irish whiskey made from a blend of Irish whiskeys aged for at least 12 years in bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks. Triple distilled at the Middleton Distillery, It's a fruity whiskey, full of sweetness and sublimely smooth.

TASTING NOTE Tullamore Dew logo

Nose : Strawberry jam, raisins, cereals, dates and honey.

Palate : Light and sweet with notes of sweet spices (nutmeg, allspice), a touch of honey and creamy fruits.

Finish : Medium length with some woody/nutty bitter sweetness.

THE BRAND

Tullamore was founded in 1829 by Michael Molloy. After his death, the Irish distillery was acquired by the Daly family and run by Captain Bernard Daly. Daniel E. Williams replaced Daly as managing director and wrote his initials, DEW. The whiskey quickly gained an excellent reputation. Today, the Tullamore Dew brand is owned by the William Grant and Sons Group.
