Tullamore Dew: the emblem of triple-distilled Irish whiskey

Founded in 1829 by Michael Molloy, the Tullamore Dew distillery quickly established itself as a major reference in Irish whiskey . Under the direction of Captain Bernard Daly and later Daniel E. Williams, whose initials gave the brand its name, this whiskey won over palates thanks to its triple distillation and its smooth, accessible profile. Despite financial difficulties leading to its closure in the 1950s, the brand was reborn thanks to the acquisition by John Powers. Tullamore Dew then joined the Irish Distillers Limited group, alongside Jameson and Midleton, thus cementing its place in the history of Irish whiskey. In 2010, the William Grant & Sons group acquired the brand and invested in the complete renovation of the original distillery located in County Offaly , on the banks of the Grand Canal. Tullamore Dew today embodies a perfect balance between tradition and modernity, offering rich, fruity and elegant expressions that appeal to enthusiasts around the world.
