About Bally House
Founded in 1923 but with origins dating back to the 18th century with the Lajus estate in Carbet, the J.Bally house is a pillar of Martinique agricultural rum. It was Jacques Bally , a daring engineer, who in 1917 modernized the house and introduced barrel aging according to the codes of cognac. A pioneer in the development of aged rums, he also made his mark with his iconic square and then pyramidal bottles. Today, the Bally house is a world reference in high-end agricultural rum, with vintages combining tradition, authenticity and rare elegance.
