THE BRAND
Trois Rivières was founded by Nicolas Fouquet in 1660, he was in charge of the King's finances. Located in Sainte-Luce in Martinique , the Trois Rivières Plantation is one of the oldest on the island. While it is still possible to visit the Trois Rivières plantation, distillation has not taken place there since 2003. Its two Savalle columns equipped with 22 trays have been at La Mauny since 2004, where they operate to produce the modern editions of the Trois Rivières brand. The process up to fermentation is also common to the three brands produced on site. Trois Rivières uses sugar cane of the reed, straw or blue cane type, grown with its feet in water and in clay soils. The white rum from the column has an alcohol content of between 65 and 75%. The cellar master is Daniel Baudin, voted best cellar master in the world in 2019. Trois Rivières is part of La Mauny , which has belonged to the Campari group since 2019.
