TASTING NOTE
Nose: Honey scent, delicate floral fragrances, hint of raisins and sweet almond.
Palate: Invigorating and wonderfully aromatic. Flavors of spices, honeyed pastries, fresh and candied fruits.
Finish: Very long.
THE BRAND
Founded in 1886, Rivière du Mât is one of the few distilleries in the world to produce both traditional and agricole rums. It has two distillation columns: a single distillation column producing aromatic rums and a triple distillation column producing lighter rums. As for their maturation, it is carried out primarily in French oak barrels and orchestrated by Cellar Master Jean Grondin, assisted by Christian Vergier, one of the world's greatest aging experts.
