Planteray Rum XO 20th Anniversary is a prestigious rum created to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Maison Ferrand. This blend of 12 to 20 year old rums , exclusively from Barbados , is first aged in the tropics before being refined in Pierre Ferrand cognac barrels in the Cognac cellars. This double maturation gives the rum a remarkable aromatic complexity . The nose opens with intense fruity notes , followed by suave aromas of vanilla chocolate , cocoa and milk . On the palate, the attack is soft and mellow , revealing flavors of sweet molasses and a touch of delicate cinnamon . The medium to long finish stretches elegantly with subtle and velvety accents. A refined rum, ideal for pure tasting or accompanied by dark chocolate or a mild cigar.

Planteray XO 20th Anniversary was created to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Maison Ferrand. It is a blend of Barbados rums aged between 12 and 20 years, first aged in a tropical climate in their country of origin, then refined in France, in Cognac, in barrels that previously contained Pierre Ferrand cognac. This double aging process gives this cuvée all its complexity and refinement. The artisanal approach, respectful of local traditions, faithfully captures the soul of the Caribbean in every sip.

About the distillery
The Planteray (formerly Plantation) range of rums was born from the passion of Alexandre Gabriel, founder of Maison Ferrand. He selects the finest vintages from across the Caribbean and Latin America, then refines them in his cellars in Charente, using expertise derived from cognac. Since 2017, he has also owned the West Indies Rum Distillery in Barbados, which has been producing continuously since the 19th century. Distillation methods there combine pot stills and modern columns, resulting in a unique aromatic diversity.
