About the distillery

Founded in 2017 on the wild island of Raasay , nestled between the Isle of Skye and the Scottish Highlands, the Isle of Raasay Distillery has quickly become a beacon of island innovation. Driven by an ambitious and sustainable vision, it was the first to legally produce spirits on the island, launching its eponymous gin first. In 2021, it unveiled its very first whisky: a lightly peated single malt distinguished by the richness of its multiple aging processes. The team plans to grow barley on the island itself, affirming a deep local roots and an artisanal approach. Thanks to careful design, controlled production and a commitment to terroir, the distillery seduces whisky lovers around the world.
