Whiskey Green Spot: The Rebirth of an Irish Jewel

Green Spot is an iconic Irish single pot still , crafted using a traditional Irish method. This unique whiskey is made from a blend of malted (40%) and unmalted (60%) barley , then triple distilled for finesse. It is matured in bourbon and sherry casks, resulting in a balanced, fruity and delicately spiced result. The average age of the whiskey in each bottle varies between 7 and 10 years , reflecting a beautiful maturity without excess. The name "Green Spot" refers to a method of marking used in the past: casks were marked with a dot of colored paint to identify their age. This tradition, abandoned in the 1960s, was revived by Irish Distillers (Pernod Ricard group) in the modern version of Green Spot. The story of Green Spot begins with the Mitchell family, English wine merchants who settled in Dublin in 1805 . They are the originators of this unique whiskey, produced in partnership with the Midleton distillery. Mitchell & Son Wine Merchants continues this tradition today, now carried on by the 6th and 7th generations of the family. Green Spot seduces with its round, elegant and authentic profile, ideal for lovers of traditional Irish whiskey. It is an essential reference in the world of single pot stills, combining historical richness, manufacturing quality and timeless charm.
