LALLIER Réflexion R.020 comes primarily from the 2020 harvest, which makes up 81% of its blend. For the first time since Réflexion's creation, Chardonnay, dominating the blend at 51%, plays a leading role. The grapes used for this vintage come from more than 50 crus located in different regions: the Côte des Blancs, the Côte de Sézanne and Montgueux for the Chardonnay, as well as the Vallée de la Marne, the Montagne de Reims and the Côte des Bar for the Pinot Noir. The harvest, which began early in late August, yielded grapes of exceptional quality, combining intensity and freshness. The resulting champagne is distinguished by its power, elegance and persistence, demonstrating great maturity. For greater balance, the 2020 harvest is complemented by reserve wines, representing 19% of the blend. These reserve wines come from the 2018 and 2019 harvests. This combination harmonizes the characteristics of each vintage to create a perfectly balanced ensemble. This brut champagne is ideal for pairing with refined and fresh dishes such as citrus-flavored fish, salted fish, as well as shellfish and crustaceans.

THE BRAND

Nestled in Aÿ, Maison Lallier is one of the grand cru gems of the Champagne region, on the sunny slopes of the Montagne de Reims, northeast of Épernay. Its history began in 1906, when René Lallier, husband of the heiress of an illustrious Champagne family, decided to create his own champagne. Over the decades, the legacy was preserved and enriched by his grandson, René-James Lallier, who breathed new life into the brand by modernizing the production facilities. His partnership with winemaker Francis Tribaut, formerly head of production at Lanson-Pommery, marked a decisive turning point. In 2004, the house was acquired by the latter, who brilliantly relaunched it. In 2020, the estate took a new turn when it was acquired by the Milanese group Campari, famous for iconic brands such as Aperol, Grand Marnier, Wild Turkey and Trois Rivières. Thus, the prestigious champagne house Lallier is under the leadership of the Italian group Campari, strengthening its already impressive legacy. Since the arrival of Campari, Dominique Demarville has assumed the roles of general manager and cellar master, bringing his expertise and passion to this renowned company. In addition, the Lallier vineyard is proud to hold the HVE-3 certification, attesting to its commitment to environmentally friendly agricultural practices.
