P&M Red Oak is the new Corsican single malt launched by Domaine Mavela , the result of a collaboration between the distillery and Domaine Gentile . Inspired by the island's traditions, this vintage has been aged exclusively in ex-red wine casks from Domaine Gentile, located in the south-east of Corsica, where Corsican wines are distinguished by their Mediterranean character. In 1999, Mavela joined forces with the Pietra brewery to create the first Corsican whisky, P&M. Today, P&M Red Oak continues this adventure, drawing on the two-hundred-year-old casks that have housed some of the island's finest vintages. This aging process gives the whisky its remarkable tannins and malty sweetness. Limited to 567 copies, each bottle is numbered to highlight the uniqueness of this expression, a tribute to Corsican excellence.

The Mavela Distillery has been established in Corsica since the late 1990s, near Aleria, on the eastern plain. In 1999, Mavela joined forces with the Pietra brewery to create the first Corsican whisky, known under the P&M brand (Pietra & Mavela). P&M whiskies are aged in two-hundred-year-old oak barrels that have contained the most prestigious Corsican wines, reflecting the island's rich winemaking heritage. About the distillery
