THE BRAND
The Savanna Distillery is a French distillery founded by Émile Hugot and located on the island of Réunion. Formerly located in Saint-Paul, it now produces its rums at the former Sucrerie de Savanna. The distillery produces various rums: light rum, traditional rum, agricultural rum, grand arôme rum, matured rum, and aged rums. Savanna operates 24/7 during the sugar harvest (July to November). It has a storage capacity of 2,300,000 liters and produces 10 million liters of rum per year. The distillery has won numerous medals at international competitions, including seventeen in 2007.
