TASTING NOTE 
Nose : Licking, cinnamon buns, orange candy, sweet oak with raisins and a slight hint of mint.
Palate : Silky texture that coats the mouth with banana, berry jam, malt biscuit and oak.
Finish : Pleasantly long and balanced with spices and dried fruits.

Ian Macleod Distillers has been an independent bottler since 1936. Its founder, Leonard J. Russell Snr, firmly believed in the company's independence and made a point of not being beholden to a single distiller. Since then, Ian Macleod Distillers has acquired two distilleries, Glengoyne and Tamdhu, allowing it to increase its sales and establish itself firmly in the whisky market. The 10th largest Scotch whisky company in the world, Ian Macleod Distillers currently sells and produces over 15 million bottles of spirits each year.
THE BRAND
Tamdhu (Gaelic for 'little black hill') is a Speyside whisky distillery. The distillery was established in 1897 by a group of blenders including William Grant and several other blenders. It is located in the town of Knockando in Banffshire, Scotland. Inspired by the founders' vision, the distillery was later purchased in 2011 by Ian Macleod Distillers, an independent family business. The new owners decided to return this distinguished malt to its former glory.
