Balance and elegance. Two words that perfectly describe Maker's Mark . This Kentucky Straight Bourbon, golden in color with amber highlights, is drier on the nose than its regional competitors due to its alcohol content (45%) and a blend of cereals where wheat asserts its presence. On the palate, it is also characterized by notes of vanilla and caramel. The palate is pleasantly surprised by the presence of fruit notes, raisins and licorice. The finish is tasty and rather dry.
TASTING NOTE-

THE BRAND
It was at the end of Prohibition that the Samuels family returned to distilling. Bill Samuels Senior then decided to burn the recipe passed down by his father and create a new bourbon more in tune with the times. He invented what became a famous bourbon, and his wife decided to seal it with red wax, which has remained a trademark. This American whiskey is atypical, particularly for its recipe. Indeed, wheat has replaced the traditional rye, it is produced in small batches, and its age is not determined.
