The Mumm vineyard, 98% of whose terroirs are classified on the cru scale, extends over approximately 218 hectares spread across emblematic villages: Aÿ, Bouzy, Ambonnay, Verzy, Verzenay, Mailly, Avize, and Cramant. Mostly planted with Pinot Noir (78%), it also relies on Grands Crus of Chardonnay and a controlled presence of Pinot Meunier, reflecting all the richness and diversity of the Champagne terroir. Mumm has been committed to a rigorous quality policy from the outset, beginning in the vineyard and continuing through to pressing. Installing presses directly in the heart of the plots and purchasing grapes directly from carefully selected winegrowers allows for precise control of the raw material and guarantees consistent, pure, and expressive vintages.
