About the distillery
Buffalo Trace Distillery , located in Frankfort, Kentucky, is the oldest continuously operating distillery in the United States , with a history officially dating back to 1773. In 2013, it was designated a National Historic Landmark , an honor that underlines its central role in American cultural and spirit heritage. Buffalo Trace is renowned for its craftsmanship and its demanding selection of raw materials. Its portfolio is impressive: icons such as Buffalo Trace , Eagle Rare , Blanton’s and the highly sought-after Pappy Van Winkle .
