LOUISE BRISON Chardonnay from the Côte des Bar is a vintage blanc de blancs champagne , complex and expressive. Under the direction of Delphine Brulez, Maison Louise Brison produces exclusively vintage cuvées, which are only offered for tasting after aging for at least 6 years in their cellars. The Chardonnays in this cuvée come mainly from the plots located in Noé-Les-Mallets, in the Aube. This terroir, distinct from that of the Marne, is similar to the Chablis terroirs with its clay-limestone rocks, giving the champagne a generous and distinguished aromatic signature. This cuvée benefits from aging and maturation in wood on lees for 9 months, giving it great complexity. The Maison's Chardonnay cuvée from the Côte des Bar is distinguished by a golden color with brilliant and crystalline reflections, with fine and regular bubbles forming a beautiful bead. On the nose, this brut nature champagne reveals delicate aromas of citrus and yellow fruits, very expressive. On the palate, it offers a complex structure with a precise, delicate and delicious substance. The finish is saline and has a beautiful length. This Chardonnay from the Côte des Bar by Maison Louise Brison is ideal as an aperitif, accompanied by savory fish-based petits fours, but also pairs very well with seafood or white meat. Serving temperature: 10°C.

THE BRAND
Louise Brison embodies, above all, a family story, a tradition brilliantly perpetuated over four generations. As early as 1900, Louise Brison laboriously cultivated a few acres of vines at a time when this activity was not always lucrative. Thanks to her tenacity, subsequent generations were able to perpetuate her legacy, and in 1991, the estate took a new turn with the arrival of Francis Brulez. Under his leadership, the production of vintage champagnes aged in oak barrels began, thus breathing new life into the estate. Deeply rooted in this land, Delphine Brulez, an agricultural engineer and oenologist, Francis's daughter, continues this tradition today by directing the estate towards organic cultivation. The start of the conversion to organic viticulture in 2017 and the first certified organic vintage in 2020 are significant milestones in this evolution. Attached to this terroir, Delphine Brulez is proud to craft champagnes that draw their roots from soil chosen by her great-grandmother over 100 years ago. Today, her work stands as a vibrant tribute to this pioneer, transforming an ordinary life into an extraordinary future. By creating Champagnes Louise Brison, she builds a bridge between past and future, aspiring to ensure this tradition continues for generations to come.
