Champagne Marc Hébrart: special club and expression of exceptional terroirs
Marc Hébrart, active since 1964 and now led by Jean-Paul Hébrart, embodies a refined approach to champagne. A member of the Club Trésors de Champagne, its "Spécial Club" cuvée represents the house's excellence: a subtle balance between delicate minerality and aromas of fresh, juicy fruit, creating a style that is both deep and airy. The terroir covers 14 hectares divided into 65 plots spread across six villages, with a predominance of Pinot Noir Premier Cru (Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, Avenay, Val d'Or, Bisseuil) and Chardonnay Grand Cru (Oiry, Chouilly). Some plots, located above the prestigious Clos des Goisses, benefit from an exceptional position. Each plot is vinified separately to preserve its personality, in a sustainable approach that limits inputs as much as possible. The vinification method is one of the house's signatures: pressure is finely controlled using state-of-the-art Bûcher horizontal presses, and since 2003, malolactic fermentation has taken place in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats to maintain freshness and precision. Some old vines destined for the Special Club are aged in barrels, adding a woody texture and complexity, while manual riddling gives an artisanal touch to each bottle. Marc Hébrart champagnes seduce with their controlled richness: full and generous, they remain light and lively, offering a refined aromatic complexity that blends terroir, minerality, and fruity freshness. A house where each cuvée reflects the finesse of the place and the exacting craftsmanship.
