CHAMPAGNE BRICE: A STORY OF PASSION AND TRADITION
Champagne Brice is a family estate whose history dates back to 1684, in the historic village of Bouzy, in the heart of the Champagne wine region. From the very beginning, the Brice family has been committed to producing exceptional champagnes, respectful of the terroir and winemaking traditions. This estate has survived centuries and challenges, including the phylloxera crisis, and has modernized and developed over the generations. In 1945, René Brice took over the family estate and restarted champagne production after the phylloxera crisis. Under his leadership, the cellars expanded, and the first Champagne Brice vintages were produced, marking the beginning of a new era for the house. In 1966, Jean-Paul Brice, the second generation, extended the vineyard to the Aube department, thus contributing to the expansion of production. The year 1994 was a landmark one for Champagne Brice, when Jean-Paul Brice became a merchant by joining the Union des Maisons de Champagne. This step allowed the house to diversify its sourcing of external grapes, thus enriching production. Today, led by the eleventh generation, represented by Rémi and Jean-René Brice, the house produces 100,000 bottles each year, more than 30% of which are exported. Renowned for its commitment to quality, Champagne Brice has established itself as a benchmark in the vinification of Bouzy Rouge. The house produces exceptional champagnes that are exclusively distributed in renowned restaurants and traditional wine merchants. Each bottle of Champagne Brice testifies to the family's deep attachment to its terroir and the passion that drives each generation.
